Ramon Monchito’s creation from the Caribe Hilton in 1954. It originally had ice cream in it & served as a milkshake. Rum was added for the adults some time later changing it into a form of the drink we so love today.
50ml of white rum

20ml peach schnapps

Garnished & served over ice.

The Daquiri was named after the Daquiri mine in Cuba Invented in Santiago’s Venus bar by Jennings Cox, where a group of engineers used to have 3 or 4 drinks around 8.00am before their daily shifts.
